1. Introduction

Welcome to Built to Last Marriage! By accessing our website and/or purchasing our coaching services, you agree to the terms outlined in this agreement. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before booking a session or engaging in coaching. If you have any questions, contact us at [email protected].

Services Offered
We provide:

  • One-on-one and group coaching for marriage, pre-marriage, and individuals

  • Specialized programs such as Built to Last: Pre-Marriage, The First Year, and Mid-Life Marriage Coaching

  • Access to assessments including SYMBIS and Prepare & Enrich

  • Digital resources, worksheets, and exercises

Session Format
All sessions are conducted virtually via Zoom. Connect Calls are available to help you determine if our coaching is a good fit.

Client Responsibilities
To get the most out of coaching:

  • Show up on time and be fully present

  • Actively engage in the process and complete any recommended activities

  • Provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is required in full at the time of checkout unless otherwise stated.

  • All payments are non-refundable except as required by law.

  • If you pause coaching, unused sessions remain valid for 6 months from purchase. After that time, they expire.

5. Confidentiality & Recordings

All personal information shared during coaching will remain confidential, except as required by law (e.g., abuse, threats of harm, or legal duty to report).

Session Recordings
Some sessions may be recorded using the secure Fathom platform for personal reflection and coaching development. Recordings are never shared externally and are used solely by Craig and Kelly Cannings unless otherwise authorized. If you prefer not to be recorded, please let us know before your session.

If you receive a copy of your session recording, it is for your private use only. You may not:

  • Modify, enhance, or edit the recording

  • Share it with others

  • Use our voices or likeness for any public or AI-related use

6. Use of AI Technology

To protect client privacy and session integrity, third-party AI notetakers (such as Otter.ai, Fireflies.ai, or others) are not permitted during coaching sessions. You agree not to record, upload, or process any part of the session using external AI tools or platforms. Use of the coaches’ voices or session content with AI is strictly prohibited.

7. Faith-Based Values & Coaching Scope

Built to Last Marriage operates from a Christian worldview. We aim to coach with compassion, respect, and integrity, rooted in Biblical principles that strengthen marriages and family life.

If a coaching request falls outside our professional scope, ethical standards, or core faith-based values, we reserve the right to respectfully refer a prospective client to another qualified coach. These decisions are made with care, not judgment, and always with the client’s best interest in mind.

8. No Guarantees
We cannot guarantee specific results from coaching. Outcomes depend on your participation, follow-through, and unique circumstances.

9. Limitations of Coaching

Coaching is not a substitute for therapy, medical treatment, or legal counsel. Craig and Kelly Cannings are not licensed therapists or legal advisors.

10. Termination of Services

Either party may end the coaching relationship with written notice. No refunds will be issued for sessions already completed or for digital programs that have been accessed.

11. Intellectual Property

All materials provided by Built to Last Marriage—including assessments, handouts, guides, and recordings—are proprietary. You may not copy, distribute, or share them without written permission.

12. Liability Limitation

Built to Last Marriage is not responsible for any actions, decisions, or outcomes resulting from coaching sessions or materials provided.

13. Ethics & Professional Standards

Craig and Kelly Cannings are committed to ethical coaching practices aligned with the International Coach Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics. We commit to:

  • Honest, respectful communication

  • Client confidentiality and data protection

  • Coaching within our scope of training and certification

  • Referring clients when necessary to uphold our standards

14. Age Restriction

Our coaching services are intended for individuals 18 years and older.

15. Third-Party Services

We use third-party platforms for service delivery:

  • Zoom for coaching calls

  • Kajabi for client management and communication

  • Stripe for secure payments

  • SYMBIS and Prepare & Enrich for assessments

  • Fathom for session recording and notetaking

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Any significant changes will be communicated through email or posted on our website.

17. Acknowledgement and Consent

By accessing our site, booking a call, or purchasing services, you agree to these Terms of Service and acknowledge the values and professional boundaries outlined.
