Coaching Service Agreement

This Coaching Service Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into by and between Craig & Kelly Cannings (Coaches) of Built to Last: Marriage & Family Coaching and the undersigned Client(s) (referred to as "You" or "Client(s)"), collectively referred to as the "Parties."

By purchasing and participating in the Built to Last: Marriage & Family Coaching, You agree to the terms outlined below:

1. Coaching Relationship

  • Purpose: The coaching relationship is designed to provide support, guidance, and accountability as You work toward strengthening your marriage and navigating life’s challenges.
  • Role of Coaches: The Coaches are here to facilitate your journey, offering tools, strategies, and insights, but ultimate responsibility for growth and results lies with You.

2. Services Provided

The coaching services include:

  • One-on-one and/or group coaching sessions (duration and frequency as outlined at purchase).
  • Access to supporting resources and materials, as applicable.
  • Email support between sessions for brief questions and clarifications.

3. Client Responsibilities

  • Commitment: Be fully present during sessions, open to feedback, and actively engaged in the process.
  • Cancellations: Provide at least 24 hours’ notice for rescheduling sessions. Missed sessions without notice may not be rescheduled or refunded.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment for services is due upon checkout unless otherwise specified.
  • All payments are non-refundable, except as required by law.
  • If you decide to pause coaching, any unused sessions you’ve already paid for will remain available for scheduling within six months of payment. After that time, they will expire. 

5. Confidentiality

  • All personal information shared during sessions will be kept confidential, except as required by law (e.g., situations involving harm or abuse).
  • Craig and Kelly share a professional office space; however, every effort is made to ensure your privacy during sessions. In the rare event that any part of a conversation is unintentionally overheard, it will be treated with the same strict confidentiality as the session itself.
  • Coaching is not therapy, legal advice, or counseling, and You acknowledge that Coaches are not licensed therapists or legal advisors.

  • Session Recording Notice: 

    Some coaching sessions may be recorded using the platform Fathom to support reflection and coaching development. By signing this agreement, You provide consent for sessions to be recorded. You may request at any time that a session not be recorded.

    If a recording is made available to You, it is provided solely for your personal use in connection with your coaching experience. You may not alter, enhance, distribute, or share the recording with anyone else. Use of the Coaches' voices or likenesses from these recordings for any purpose beyond private review is strictly prohibited.

  • Use of AI:
    To preserve confidentiality and integrity, third-party AI notetakers, recorders, or assistants (such as Otter.ai, Fireflies.ai, or others) are not permitted during sessions. Only Craig and Kelly’s designated tools may be used to capture or process coaching sessions.

    Additionally, You agree not to upload, process, or manipulate any part of your session recordings using AI technologies, including voice cloning, AI summarization tools, or machine learning software.

6. No Guarantees

  • Results may vary, and Coaches make no guarantees about outcomes. Success is dependent on Your effort, participation, and circumstances.

7. Termination of Agreement

  • Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time with written notice at least one month before the termination date. If the Client terminates after services have begun, no refund will be issued.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Coaches are not liable for any actions or decisions made by the Client based on coaching sessions or resources.

9. Use of Client Information for Credentialing Purposes

  • You understand and agree that your name, phone number, and/or email address may be provided to the International Coach Federation (ICF) solely for the purpose of verifying coaching hours completed with Craig and/or Kelly Cannings as part of their ICF credentialing requirements.
  • By signing this Agreement, you give permission for your coach to document and submit coaching hours from your sessions as required for their certification. No session content will be shared, and all other information discussed during coaching will remain strictly confidential, except as required by law and as agreed upon in Section 5 above.

10. Ethics, Values, and Professional Standards

Craig and Kelly Cannings are committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and respect in all coaching interactions. Their coaching practices are guided by Christian values, the principles of trust and confidentiality, and the ethical standards set forth by the International Coach Federation (ICF).

They pledge to:

  • Maintain client confidentiality in all cases, except where legally required.

  • Serve each client with honesty, respect, and compassion.

  • Avoid conflicts of interest or the exploitation of the coaching relationship.

  • Communicate clearly and transparently in all service interactions.

Craig and Kelly approach their coaching from a Christian worldview and provide services that reflect their faith-based values. While they seek to serve all clients with dignity and care, they also reserve the right to refer a prospective client or couple to another qualified coach if the coaching request falls outside their professional scope, ethical boundaries, or core values. Any such decision will be made with thoughtfulness, integrity, and in compliance with applicable laws.

Clients are expected to engage in the coaching process in good faith, with mutual respect for the values and boundaries outlined in this agreement.

11. Governing Law

  • This Agreement is governed by the laws of Nevada, USA.

12. Acknowledgment and Consent

By completing your purchase, You acknowledge that You have read, understood, and agreed to this Coaching Service Agreement.
