Are you ready to build a strong, faith-filled relationship with your young adult as they step into adulthood?
Built to Last: The Launch Years is a Christ-centered group program created for parents navigating this exciting, sometimes messy, and often emotional season. We’ll help you stay connected, support your child without hovering (hard, we know), and build a relationship that grows stronger—even as they start doing life on their own terms.
Your kids are growing up and stepping into adulthood...
...and let’s be honest, your role as a parent is doing somersaults. What used to be clear (school pickups, bedtime routines, snack management) has now turned into a delicate dance of knowing when to lean in and when to back off.
Now’s the perfect time to prepare for the shifts, surprises, and sacred moments that come with parenting young adults.
Things like:
-01-
Knowing when to speak... and when to zip it (harder than it sounds)
-02-
Respecting their independence while still offering the wisdom they didn’t ask for
-03-
Figuring out where the boundaries are—and how not to trip over them—when it comes to relationships, money, and values
-04-
Letting go of control (gulp) without letting go of connection
-05-
Trusting God with their future—even when it looks nothing like you pictured
...If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to navigate this season on your own.

So here's what we know...
You’re in a season of letting go—but let’s be real, part of your heart wants to hang on just a little longer. You’re figuring out how to show up for your young adult in a new way—offering love, wisdom, and support without hovering, fixing, or texting too much (no promises).
Our 8-week small group coaching program is rooted in GRACE and will walk you through six key strategies to help you stay connected, build trust, and give your child the space to grow into who God created them to be.
You’ll walk away with clarity, confidence, and a Christ-centered approach to this ever-evolving season—so your relationship can keep growing, even as your role keeps changing.
“Your child still needs you—but in a new way.”
— Jim Burns

LET'S GET STARTED!
Is This Program Right For You?
Perfect for you if:
- You’re committed to parenting with grace, faith, and wisdom in this new season of your child’s life.
- You want to stay connected with your young adult while giving them space to grow.
- You’re looking for practical guidance and biblical encouragement as your role as a parent shifts.
- You’re ready to invest in your relationship with your child—and your own personal growth.
- You’re willing to show up each week with an open heart, a teachable spirit, and maybe even a little humor.
Not for you if:
- You’re not ready to commit to eight weeks of intentional growth and grace-filled parenting.
- You’re unwilling to invest time and energy into navigating this season with wisdom and faith.
- You’re not open to adjusting your approach or learning new strategies to support your young adult.
- You’re currently dealing with deep relational wounds, unresolved conflict, or significant family trauma.
- If you're in a season of serious emotional strain or brokenness, a counseling environment may be a better first step before joining a group coaching setting.
A Final Note From Us...
We know that parenting doesn’t end when your kids become adults—it just changes. Welcome to the season of letting go (kind of), cheering from the sidelines, offering advice only when asked (hard, we know), and figuring out how to stay connected while giving space. It’s tender, tricky, and sometimes a little bit hilarious.
We’re right here with you. As parents of daughters navigating college, careers, and early adulthood—and with one newly married and a son-in-law we’ve joyfully welcomed into the family—we understand the beauty and the occasional bewilderment of this stage.
Like you, we’re learning to parent with grace, wisdom, humor, and open hands (and lots of coffee). That’s why we created this program—to walk alongside other parents learning to launch well and love well in this new season.
God has incredible plans for your family, and we’re honored to be on this journey with you.
Let’s do this—together.

“The things you do in the first 12 months of your marriage will be the things that stick with you for a long time.”
— Dr. Les Parrot
